Lethal yellowing is a disease first identified in the Caribbean region. In the 1950’s there was a devastating outbreak in Jamaica and the Florida Keys and recently has spread as far as Texas. There is no cure for lethal yellowing, but susceptible palms can be inoculated as a preventative measure.
